2023: Malta Town Plans
Here is an update on some Town plans near the Luther Forest/Dunning Street area. The Malta Presbyterian Church building/
land, as well as the land behind CVS Pharmacy are posted as for sale. On the Bentley's Tavern side of Dunning Street, a 10
acre parcel is also for sale - with a possible apartment complex planned. There is no further update on the probable move of the
NYS Trooper Barracks at this time. On Route 9, a new Stewart's Shop has been open since Halloween, and a carwash/
stand alone retail is proposed next door to the Minouge's Beverage/Brix Plaza. For any updates, see the Town of Malta website

The Town of Malta is posting that Low Income Senior Citizens may be eligible for a 2nd tax exemption on owner occupied primary residences.
